Biographical Details
First started learning the Guitar circa 1964(and still cant get it right) encouraged by my Father, who played a little American folk style.
I first started attending Folk Club’s circa 1967, these included Rhyl, Rhos – on – Sea (now defunct), Llandudno (now defunct) and of course Conwy.
First started doing solo floor spots circa 1978
First started writing my own songs 1989
Links with other Performers:
Joined “Fox Firkin” singing trio in 1982. This trio still performs both singing bookings and ceilidhs (Nick Jackson – Andy Maclauchlin and Alan Manouch).
Played with the “Polkatak” ceilidh band 1995 – 1999.
Formed “Shining Clear” singing duo with Alan Manouch in 1999.
