Biographical Details

I was born in Towyn, Nr Rhyl and was Breast fed-but
ate the Legs as well, - when available. When I was
eleven The Family moved to Wilmington 3 miles outside
Dartford, Kent.
As a young teenager I met and went to school with
Mick Jagger who lived around the corner from me. We
eventually had a schoolboy scuffle in a Telephone Box
over a Girl called Helen, who we both fancied at the
time. I won the scuffle, but he won Helen (there is a
mention of this tale in a ditty that I sing called
"When I Write My Book") Note -"He never mentioned me
in any of his songs"!!.

I was a member of a Trio called 'Country Folk' for Ten
years, which included my Wife and Bridesmaid......
'long gone now'. But I still have Tapes of that time.

I enjoy writing songs of personal experiences, mainly
with a humorous content like -'Go With the Flow' &
'A Simple Life', but sometimes of sad events such as
'Ladbrooke Grove Train Disaster'.

I have musical 'hero's', too many to mention here, but
I am always drawn to the Singer/Songwriter, and if I
were to choose one from each gender the following would
apply.......

Current Female......Pam Tillis
Past Male...........Don Gibson

PS:
John Taylor tells me there is a young man worth going to see
if you get the chance, his name is Rolf Mctull or something like
that.
