Biographical Details
I was born at a very early age and have been making slow progress ever since, 16 years later I was still only 9!. I bought my first Guitar from a mail order catalogue (yes, I know better now) when I was in my late 20’s. I still remember the morning that it arrived, I practised and practised, but by early afternoon I still had not made much progress – in spite of having once seen a copy of Bert Weedon’s “Play in a Day”, in W.H.Smith’s.
After owning several Guitar’s, I decided to have a go at building my own, I did not have any doubt that I could make it look right, having in the past made a paying hobby out of making “Rocking Horses”, but how would it sound, would it be “Ding Ding” or “Dunk Dunk”?, actually it was “Ding”, just as well being an Instrumentalist. I bought a Tape Recorder and discovered that I cant sing, then sometimes I think “What the Hell” and try a Vocal anyway.
