Biographical Details

I used to be a regular at the Peterborough Folk Club in the Sixties. I moved to Llandudno in 1966, and helped form Llandudno Folk Club, booking all my favourite performers of the time – Alex Campbell, John Pierce, Alexis Korner, Diz Disley. etc, ah what memories. I then gradually slipped into decline, aided by my own contribution to the World’s population explosion. I use to come and watch my Daughters playing at the Conwy Club, and started my own come-back after moving house, when I realized I could catch a Bus to the Folk Club’s front door, avoiding the need for abstinence.

When not strangling my Guitar, I can be found walking the hills of Wales and Scotland, playing Bridge at various local clubs, and tinkering with my ancient Austin Seven Tourer.

I am pleased to report that unlike their Father, both of my Daughters possess genuine musical abilities, and occasionally during visits to their aged Father, can be heard at this club playing Flute’s, Violin’s, and things, and if they are feeling kind they sometimes let me accompany them.
